Our Story: The Soul of Mas Tarrès

Mas Tarrès is more than just a rural house; it is the reflection of our passion, effort, and love for nature. We are David, Rosa, Iker, and Irina, a family of entrepreneurs who have seen this dream grow with our own hands, transforming our grandmother’s old farmhouse into a unique retreat for those seeking to disconnect and reconnect with what truly matters.

We have always been connected to the countryside and nature, and in 2012, we took the first step to bring life back to this house full of memories. With enthusiasm and hard work, we began the restoration of La Olivera, the first rural accommodation at Mas Tarrès. Every stone placed, every restored beam, had a purpose: to create a welcoming space where time slows down and peace becomes the main character.

But we didn’t stop there. Our dedication and love for this project led us to build La Acacia, the second rural apartment. With each improvement, with each new space created, we watched as our little farmhouse transformed into a home for those seeking calm and nature.

Our efforts were paying off. We wanted our guests to experience more than just a stay—we wanted them to truly disconnect, to rest deeply, to embrace the magic of the surroundings. This is how our swimming pool was born—an oasis in the middle of the forest, where water and sky merge into a single moment of serenity.

Over the years, we continued to grow. We renovated El Pi, the third rural apartment, and more recently, we welcomed our latest addition: La Alzina, a space designed with the same care and dedication, created for those looking for an even more exclusive stay.

Throughout this journey, we have enjoyed sharing Mas Tarrès with families, building deep bonds and unique friendships that have accompanied us along the way. Now, with our children grown up, we feel it is time to give Mas Tarrès a new atmosphere and transform it into an exclusive retreat for adults only. A place where silence, nature, and tranquility take center stage, offering an experience of absolute relaxation.
